The workers in a factory had to pack a total of 5940 pencils into boxes of different sizes. 4 pencils were packed into a large box and 3 pencils were packed into a small box.There were twice as many small boxes as large boxes in the end.(a) How many pencils were packed in 1 large box and 2 small boxes?Answer : pencils

(b) How many pencils were packed in 2 large boxes and 4 small boxes?

Mrs. Tan prepared some lemonade for her party. The guests drank 1.5 litres of the lemonade. Mrs. Tan added another 2.5 litres into the jug.

The guests then drank 1221​ of what was in the jug. There were 2.4 litres of lemonade left in the jug in the end.
